daijobu means OK in japanese – abbrv form from polite "daijobu desu ka" which is the long winded version of "are you ok?"
phonetically jevad's correct with the link to big brother although bu depending what pitch level sounds a bit like NO! so phonetically it's Chinese mandarin for BIG NO!
