hello my dear friends,
i am finishing up the website for my vintage base ball team and i need some help. first off, how do i fix the code in the css so its not all the way to the right on IE (its fine in FF and safari, just sucks in IE).
second, i need to put up a photo gallery, but there are like over 500 pics and ill be damned if i have to thumbnail and link all of em. anyone know of a simpler approach?
any help is appreciated.
love,

The code is showing up in IE on the right? I'm all kinds of confused..

no, sorry, the code isnt showing up. just the entire site is aligned to the right in IE.

Ah..I'd up the font size a bit too..nothing like squinting at Courier New on a screen...other than that I like it.

for photogallery i'd use : slideshow pro, if you are a mac user, you can get the free iphoto plugin and it will do most the work for you.

or you can use photoshop. go file-automate-web photogallery. this will make thumbs and image folders and even a web viewer. you can choose image and thumb sizes. you dont have to use the web viewer but it will quickly automatically process 500 photos into images and thumbs optimised for the web

ah, that is very helpful toulouz, thank you very much.
is there any script that wil show all the iamges on the server instead of having to code each link in?

the way you are trying to center a div doesn't work in IE. it's not aligning right, it's centering the left margin.
try:
position: absolute
left: 50%
margin-left: -332px (half the width of the div)

Can we call you Coast here too?
Huh ace?
