If you had an Ozzie accent, wouldn't you start a career in acting and travel half way across the planet to try and lose it?
Nairn

Sorry, that is indeed correct, kelpie - his rear end sounds like Jasper Carrot, whilst his top end sounds like one or both of the Krankies (dependant on quantity of alcohol consumed)..

Aren't Australians doing exceptionally well in Holywood with their accents?
American seems to come easy to them, much easier than to the Brits.

first off bottlerocket... it's Siffried.. (get it right! actually... i think I just spelled it wrong again too)... and what THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??
there isn't one Rocco movie out there that isn't a classic in my book... especially 'Rocco takes Prague'...
... brilliant work. :)

Debating Mels lineage or use of an accent is like casting Rocco Sifredi in a romantic comedy. Pointless and no-one wants to see it

what can i believe in if i can't believe in the lawlessness of hollywood stars? this is devastating.
oh for the days when things were plain vastating.

Actors and spies must learn to have control over their accents.
Why wouldn't he use his American as a born American living in the US for a couple of decades?BTW, was his Scottish accent convincing?

Generally your formative years have the most effect on your accent. He went to NIDA, starred in aussie movies before moving to the states.
AS Much as I hate to admit it, he;s an aussie.
