Enter response:Yes I am familiar with him. Why? I wouldn't expect his analysis to be any different due to his politics.

Just curious..more about his general point about how hi tech modern standing armies have difficulty fighting guerilla movements...
- Mimio0
What can anyone say...he's got a passion for war, destruction, imperialism and the burning of fossil fuels.
- mrdobolina0
it is on topic.
- mrdobolina0
I love how that twat republican just disappears when he gets his ass handed to him.
nice that he basically admitted iraq was a mistake though.
should take some wind out of his sails.
- exador10
mimio..
all i'm trying to say is that the muslim extremists side of the arguement usually hangs on 'free the palestinians'..blah blah..once that is achieved, you remove their cause....without a cause, it's hard to motivate folks..
the difficult part is that israel itself makes it difficult...they claim they have no partner for peace..but when you kidnapp an assload of hamas elected officials, it makes it hard for them to come to the table and negotiate...
face it...they're not terribly interested in negotiation...
neither side is..thats the main trouble here isn't it?
neither side wants to sit down with the other..
both want to kick ass.so.
either we step in and force them to get along, and that starts with establishing a free palestine...
or.
get out alltogether.
no more supporting israel
no supporting anybody..
let em destroy each other.i'm not really in favour of that..but i can't think of what else will work...

Agreed BlueOne. I often wonder if the abduction of those Israeli soldiers wasn't a set up to raise the price of gas during the buisy summer travelling season. hhhmmmmm. Petroleum prices skyrocket every timew their is strife in the Middle East, or for that fact, if little Jimmy in Kansas scrapes hois knees. Since it is a proven fact that Bush, Inc. lied to us about the uranium from Niger to justify going to war in Iraq, I put nothing past these warmongers. Can't wait to see what "terrorist plot" they uncover around elections to sway public opinion.
Enough killing for money. Simnple.
- CALLES0
are you talking about bush? wait whats going on?
- TenaciousG0
nah, only way to win a guerilla war is to kill all the guerillas, kill all the guerillas brothers, kill all their cousins, kill all their friends and kill all their children before they are old enough to lift a gun.
that's the thing about this kind of war, every 'forward step' taken, results in more problems down the line.

(Jul 27 06, 11:51)HOORAY ethnic cleansing! BOO irregular warfare!
(If this were a red stripe commercial, I could imagine this...)
- mrdobolina0
Republican didn't we squash you yesterday?
- algorithm0
he is also discipler/flagellum so he is prolly off defending Intelligent Design or looking at kiddie porn.
- exador10
i know dobby.
some of that dudes arguements really stun me.
i can't figure out how he can really believe some of that stuff...but he seems to.as for the 'whats your plan' nonsense...that just makes no sense...
the big plan would have been not to go in at all...how about that?
now that we are there...well...its a civil war isn't it..
its a bit late for plans when you're in the middle of a civil war...
say what you want about saddam..but the busses ran, the electriciy worked...
he kept Iran in checkkinda makes ya miss the guy..
he had NO love for the islamist extremists either...hmmmmmm....
think if we asked nicely, he'd come back?;)
- Mimio0
Thats why I think he's an act, a caricature, nobody's that blind of a Bush Ideaologue.

(Jul 27 06, 10:22)Guerilla movements (terrorism) is a definite and effective way of fighting the hitech modern standing armies and that is being proven.
I am not so sure that the guerilla style tactics will in the end “win” since the mix of propaganda through the mainstream media is probably doing the most damage than the actual physical war. It will take the public to make a 180 turn and admit that they know “right from wrong” rather than play this “objective” and “other side” trendy pov. IMHO

this is all gods fault =(
bad bad god! bad god!!

i guess it all comes down to we are the people looking from the outside...
so much history, so much tension, so much culture... its easy for us to say hey do this do that stop this stop that... i'm pretty sure they the middle east is saying thanks for your opinion but this isn't about you!
America loves to be the big brother and try to bring in the western culture "everyone" hates but then those same people ask for help...
there is never going to be a clear cut answer from outsiders...
not sure what the answer is but i guess its just going to be more war like the old school days
- jevad0
same reasons that the americans are losing in IRAQ....
- Republican0
*Peeks into thread to see if any hypocrits found a solution.*
*As expected. Still no solution. Just blaming and hatred.*
*Ducks out and waits again*
- mrdobolina0
I agree. he basically admitted yeserday that iraq was a mistake but will still defend it. It defies logic.
