Save it as a jpg or gif from Illustrator...upload...take a deep breath..and approach the comments and criticisms with an open mind....

you need an ftp program like cute ftp or ftp pro...you also need server space...or, if you don't have your won website you can upload it to a free host site like:

i'm kinda new to illustrator so i'm not the best.

That gradient is going to give you hell come printing.
To 'crop' the rays, just make a new layer, fill it with white to cover the logo, and cut out the area where you want the logo to show.

thanks for your help javed, i'm new to all this so i'm still learning, why would it 'give me hell' when printing?
do you have any suggestions as how to improve it?
like i say its not the final one, i do have other ideas, just kinda liked the concept behind this one and thought i cud take it further.

better off to create a clipping mask to crop.. select all with box on top and cmnd-7.
- scream_then0
when i do that horton, it just seems to go white, i'll have a play around with it anyway, as that idea of yours seems easier.
thanks

(Jul 24 06, 10:32)aye - that's a better way to do it.
What's the company by the way? What do they do? What is your concept?

(Jul 24 06, 10:37)make sure the box acting as mask is topmost object.. use bring to front cmnd if you're not sure.
or to test just draw a second new box ontop of the logo and select it all.

the company is selling this product:
http://www.ritec.co.uk/clearshie…
basically its a window company, but i spoke to the marketing manager the other day and he said he wants to get away from the idea of using something simple like a window, he said more of a sea scape, with a representation of the sun.

it just seems to all go white when i do the clipping mask, i can't seem to get it to work. GRRR!
