(XXX) XXX-XXXX
I detest the XXX.XXX.XXXX, it's trying to be cooler than it really is.
- digitalswarm0
I think XXX.XXX.XXXX looks cleaner. (XXX) XXX-XXXX looks cheap.

Enter response:
xxx XXX-XXXX
or
XXX XXX-XXXX
give them a dash... but maybe make the area code/country code (whatever) smalla.
(XXX) is 'too much' - that's secondary to the primary number - but still necessary. So I always dump the parenthesis and drop the point size in the area... ever... so... slightly.
- jim_0
what's the point of differentiating the area code? it's all just numbers you have to dial

(Jul 14 06, 17:19)I agree, my job is to deliver content in the simplest way for my users. Most of my lame users are used to
(718) 498-1043
like the phone book.
- ribit0
how about including the country code if you have an international audience?
- Fariska0
