Yeah that really fucks me off when you're trying to sleep - far too bright. I'm on an old 1GHz PB though, I'd still like to know if it's possible.

throw your pants over it!
- 5timuli0
That's fine if your pants are new and sans ventilation at the crotch ;)

you have dirty sweaty nads? I'd recommend penicillin. why not just 'turn it off'?

cover it with tape?
use a marker?
stick a sharp metal object thru it?
kick it?
ignore it?
complain more about it?
cry?
laugh?
smoke some weed?
go for a walk?
pick up a book?
pick up some girls?
run away?
grow some balls?
think of you third grade teacher wearing nothing but socks?:)

yea i normally end up putting a magazine or something over it. but you would think they would allow you to stop it

that light can be kind of important... it took me weeks to realise that you have to wait till it pulsates before you can change the battery (without power lead connected) and have it not shut down..... On the Powerbooks you could do the battery swap within a few seconds 9it just had to be in Sleep mode), but with the MacBookPro you have to wait like a minute untl it has written the RAM contents to disc and gone into true sleep, then its safe to change the battery.
(I had to explain this to Applecare guy... he didnt know.)
