No idea...but it may be because of the emulation of those apps in Rosetta. They're not native yet and probably won't be until adobe do a full version upgrade.

what version of flash? I know my old copy of mx(v6) used to crawl on my old g5...

flash 8.
it's a 6mb file that as a swf is 750k - it has trouble saving & undoing - probably just the file??
I dont know, I just get little glitches all the time on this mac, the dock freezes now & then and other wierd stuff.
had trouble finding 'system optimizer' but found OnyX on the mac download site - sounds similar

Have a look at your activity monitor and see if anything is slowing you down

got the latest os-x update? it's got this thing with some widget i read in the news today. it keeps phoning home to Apple HQ all the time, which not only disrespects your privacy, but may also drop your performance a bit..

cheeky buggers!

onyx is good as well...
it definetly cant be this widget phoning home thing...
i would suggest to boot from dvd, and do hardware test and first aid for the disc...
