In OSX Tiger , how do I get that little paw at the top to show up, you know, the one that when you click it, it lists all your apps?

what paw?

ok, it might now be a paw, but i remember the macs at school had this little icon on the top menu, that when you clicked it a drop down list of all the apps (photoshop, illo, etc) came down. I want that.

that used to be the apple menu in os9, which has been replaced by the dock at the bottom of the screen.
- foreverwhatever0
no, it had the dock as well! i dont know.

if you're sure it was not OS9, was probably a 3rd party installed menu item.. for people who want to relive the classic thing.
just add your fav apps to the dock, and/ or drop the Applications folder into your dock for a single menu of all.

ya it won't be a menu, its just like a shortcut to the folder... you would have to drop in your individual programs on the doc
- rasko40
or just click hold

this is what you are looking for.
http://ranchero.com/tigerlaunch/…I use it and like it. You can setup which apps you want to show up.
I prefer this so only the apps I am running are in the dock.

i just use apple>tab for when I want to switch between open apps.

thats it!
thanks!
