I work for ASU, this site looked fine in both IE and FF. http://webapp.poly.asu.edu/jacme…
What the hell is going on in FF?

I don't have Explorer on my machine here at work, but it appears that there may be some margin issues?

i checked the CSS file and it validates...so i have no idea. the site was working fine on both just the other day.

don't have time to look at your code, but it's easier when you hate IE...
code for it to work in Firefox first, then fix for IE.

check your margins

FX uses some funky inline padding. You may need to add some javascript to add in the appropiate CSS Style so that it works properly in IE and FX.
-moz-inline-box, is the attribute in question.
I can mock up an example if you think that may be it, I think I have one laying around I could tweak in a bit.

I'm no CSS expert, but I don't see any left padding or margin set in #main in your jacmet.css

i also see that alot of your css is written strange
like padding left padding right padding top padding bottom
then on other declarations like margin you seem to use the t-r-b-l method but you only give 3 values instead of 4
'tis strange

yes check ur css, just because it validates doesn;t mean it has all the right values that you want in it...
Firefox called...it hates you too

"Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a css file and mark it validated, I will. I got spare time."

get the web developer toolbar for FF, it will help you sort it out, like the 'outline tool'
very useful

your css is yelling at me!
here's a tip: make sure you put a semi-colon after all rules. You can get away wtih not having it on the last rule, but if you add a rule and forget to add the semi-colon, it will botch stuff up.
how are you centering your layout?
