If you look at the content in the site would you think that i'm junior level designer or more senior?
thanks

Intern.
;) just kidding, your work is fucking A+! And I really mean it.

thanks. Jox how are things?
I am just feeling depressed because i think that my career should be at a higher level but instead it's going at a snail's pace and i don't know how to get the AD positions. it's so frustrating. I know i can be a good AD but not sure what i need. Right now i'm getting more big brand experience and i know that will help but i'm very impatient.
Glad to get this off my chest.
thanks :)

as far as presenting work, commonbrand is the tightest. If your portfolio was more ordered like that then I would say senior.
Right now the site looks more illustrative, If thats the type of work youre leaning towards then just clean it up and stick with it.

that site is mostly my personal work. i like doing projects on the side to keep things interesting and i also do a lot of commercial design work.
I used to have all my pro and personal work together but thought that this will be better as some clients don't like personal work and some do.
Do companies only hire AD who have big brand experience? i've seen some AD and their work isn't good and i just wonder how they get the jobs?
I work harder than a lot of people i work with and i feel like i don't get any props. And i find lazy people who socialize at work get notice more. It's unfair.

It looks like the work of a graphical illustrator. Good stuff.

looks like a site of someone who owes 34k in back taxes...
kidding!! it appears less commercial. if you wanna sell yourself as an AD for agencies, you should make it more corporate. it's all about how you present your work.

thanks for the comments and suggestions.
especially tkmeister for reminding me how much i owe. i am on the 11th floor and will now jump out the window!
I guess that is why i have the commonbrand site but people seem to only check Piperboy.com
I just found out that i'm getting paid at the low end of the scale according to the AIGA SALARY SURVEY. i am pissed because i asked for it and i thought it might have been too high too. So depressing.

sorry man!
so what kind of job u looking for? do you wanna just get a job that makes shit load of money or you wanna job that you really love?
- piperboytoy0
well, i am reallly confused about what i want to do. My last job paid as much as a McDonald's employee but i loved it because it was so creative and everyone were artists.
now i am working at a big web shop that does big brand work and i'm not as challenged but the money is a lot better. Still considered underpaid.
I have an interview with a really great company that i've always wanted to work for but never felt that i was good enough. I am not sure what position it's for because I was contacted by their Design Manager via my piperboy.com site. Today i checked their site for and saw that they were only hiring designers. that is why i'm wondering if people think i'm inexperienced and are only offering me the entry level work.
I do want to make more money because i really don't see myself paying off my taxes anytime soon. I guess i'm just feeling pressure to make more money because of this situation.
Ultimately, i'd like to be doing something that i love and make enough money so that i won't have to work freelance all night as well. I don't mind working but i've been working so much for so long, i just want to be able to enjoy some success in life and not be a gimp and work endlessly.
I guess i'm frustrated with myself for not being able to find the right jobs.
thanks for listening.

Your work is pretty tight, but i have to scroll down on your splash screen to find the enter button. Think u might wanna sort that one out.
Essentially:
your work = senior.
your welcome = junior.

thanks freshly squeezed. :)
