I had a 2.4 when I first started using computers... for like years seemingly. It was almost pointless.
And I remember getting 56K and thinking, "Wow, they'll never get faster than this."

that's true of all computer related stuff. Moore's law or whatever.
I remember having an Amiga with 1MB of RAM and that was souped up even then.
I'm sure we'll all be on 100meg braodband in no time.

just looked at my current work mac to check on it's ram – 2.5 GB
2,500 times more than my trusty amiga. But I haven't had a single Guru Meditation warning on my mac!
