Hi everyone, just updated my online portfolio, now in html for anyone who remembers the flash version. Should I make things clickable, so images can be enlarged or there is no need?
- designerror0
nice and clean, no need for anything else

Your 'demix' artwork uses Buro Destruct's Circa NOT 'flirt bobo'
Not sure if thats allowed.

Concrete
what do you mean? Im think that was a free font.
- kelpie0
I like it, but I'm never sure about people using graphics as text on an HTML site, when html itself would suffice just as well...

I agree, its just that I dont want it to use standars Vedana or Arial. Is there anyway to embed a font in to an HTML page?

simple one pager.
Think more about how you order your work. I'm not sure the Chiiky project sells you very well. I was a bit put off by it but as I scrolled down there was better work. Put some of that at the top.

I think its fine, perhaps I would look at the order of the work.
One thing you definately need is a contact option, no phone number email or nuffink is it geezah?!

fair enough Kiko, it can be tough giving up your nice fontage. As someone who has had to made the sacrifice, I just need everybody else to share my misery ;'(

Im gonig to give it a go anyway. does use up extra space.
- kelpie0
you can make it look good! honest! try this:

hey great link!
ok I think I will go for Verdana. it not too far off from what Im using now anyway
- kelpie0
good tip if you like - set the styles as Tahoma first, then Verdana for those that don't have it. They are very similar, but Tahoma is a bit more condensed liek the font you're using already :)
- Kiko0
* another hug for Kelpie
- rasko40
damn they make you remove contact details?
For how long? I'm about to see some recruitment agencies but I'm not wanting to remove the deets from my folio site. What agency are you using btw?
- kelpie0
that does seem rather shifty of them, I suppose with some of them you become their asset once you sign up. *shiver

I cant remeber. I put my CV up on Monster and some agency called me from there.
Yeah they obvioulsy dont want the company to contact you directly.
DO you know any sites with Design jobs? dont want to ely on a damn agency.
- rasko40
sorry but all websites seem over subscribed by freelancers and idiots who want something for nothing, I'm going to be emailing my CV / folio to design co's I like the look of and hope to get something that way as things have dried up for me a bit.

i asked about this, rasko. if you dedicate a page for them without contact info you're fine.
