yeah looks like there is a footballer with that last name - it comes up often but i just can't seem to find a translation.

ordinarily, babelfish is your friend...
couldn't translate capessa, though. it's probably just a name.
- easy_target0
in what context was it used and is it spelt right?
- Jaline0
If you search for it at Google.com it's there in lower-case.
- Jaline0
...meaning that it could be an actual word too.
- thompson0
crap - it's showing up but no translators will work...

Hi there
I am actually italian.
Capessa as such doesn't sound familiar to me.
It might be a family name as somebody suggested.
It could mean (it might be an older word unused now)
*female leader*
leader (masculine) = capo
leader (feminine) = capa or capessa(?)

thanks for the response arylone - yeah it seems that it may be old slang or something...
this is helpful.
