im looking at buying a macbook ( white one with a bit of extra memory added).
anyone have an experience on how CS2 works on these new intel macs? Ive heard some stuff like CS2 doesnt run too good on it... in that case, would it be better if I install windows on it and run CS2 from windows until they fix cs2 for mac?

i have an intel macbookpro and initially i noticed a different stance on the way i had to approch the program.i have readjusted my direction and my speed is now 10 times what i was!!!
it works great!!! you must also change as technology advances so should you.
open your mind to a new evolution. advance your abilities and when CS3 arrives at least you will have the macine that cn handle the next generation adobe.

The times I have run PS CS2 on a Macbook Pro it felt like I was using a G3, and it was very noisy too. It just feels not right.
Running CS2 under WinXP is certainly an option to get better performance, but remember bootcamp is still beta, again, not acceptable. I havent tried this though.
By the time bootcamp is part of the OS, and CS3 comes out, in like a year, there will be better fatser and cheaper machines (isnt this what the switch to intel was all about?) and Apple will have made totally sure you feel like you have an outdated machine anyway, so ...

with 2 gigs of ram, it runs just fine.
a little slower than my dual 2.5.. but still, it's good.

I have both a MacBook Pro and Intel iMac with 2 gb ram and 256mb video mem... they both run CS2 faster than my 1.33ghz G4 with 1.5gb ram and 256mb video mem if that helps any.

I have a macbook pro ... forget MacOS .. this thing is beautiful in Windows. I switch between win to mac if I want to just use it for media.
adobe's all run awesome. Don't even bother running them under macos
