NY Broadband Service

  Does anyone have any good advice as far as who to choose? Ideally, a service that doesn't port block would be nice (cough: torrents are my friend).

  I was looking at New York Connect and Optimum Online. I heard both are pretty fast, but Optimum port blocks; not sure about NY Connect.

  We want Verizon Fios, but not available in our area yet.

  Anyone have any experience with these or other services?
