I got into it with my Mother's neighbor on saturday night over this thing.
He's like "well I'm not doing anything wrong and have nothing to hide".
I asked him if he would be cool with unwarranted searching of his house and he then saw where I was going with it.

at least that, mrd. i've heard people say they wouldn't mind someone searching their house cause they got nothing to hide. ya know, if it keeps us safe from the terr'sts then its patriotic to hand over your privacy.
- mrdobolina0
no doubt, what the hell are we fighting terrorism for if you have to give up all of your rights?
they already won, no?

"In 2003 AT&T built "secret rooms" hidden deep in the bowels of its central offices in various cities, housing computer gear for a government spy operation which taps into the company's popular WorldNet service and the entire internet. These installations enable the government to look at every individual message on the internet and analyze exactly what people are doing. Documents showing the hardwire installation in San Francisco suggest that there are similar locations being installed in numerous other cities."
that is fucked up

My friends used to roll their eyes when I talked about the buying and selling of personal information for aggregate marketing purposes, supermarket discount cards and the whole Doubleclick internet piranhas. Now this stuff hits and I'm not so Kasinski anymore.

no shit, helluva a precedent to set.
the president's sworn duty is to uphold the constitution. I realize spy agencies need to spy on sleeper cells or whatever the fuck it is, but get a warrant, bitches.

(May 22 06, 11:15)Just out of curiosity, where WERE you going with it?
Searching a persons physical home is not the same as scanning over virtual documents and cathing phone calls and what not.
That's about as dumb of an arguement as I've ever heard. Sorry but it's true.

now its 1984
knock, knock on your front door
it's the suede-denim secret police
they have come for your uncool neice
- rasko40
lol @ suede denim secret police
gotta love the dk's
- mrdobolina0
because there are laws against both, garett.
If these laws need to change, then change them, but don't circumvent the entire constitution.

I am Governor Jerry Brown
My aura smiles
And never frowns
Soon I will be president ...
Carter power will soon go away
I will be Fuhrer one day
I will command all of you
Your kids will meditate in school
California uber alles
Uber alles California
Zen fascists will control you
100% natural
You will jog for the master race
And always wear the happy face
Close your eyes, can't happen here
Big Bro' on white horse is near
The hippies won't come back you say
Mellow out or you will pay
California uber alles
Uber alles California
Now it is 1984
Knock knock at your front door
It's the suede/denim secret police
They have come for your uncool neice
Come quietly to the camp
You'd look nice as a drawstring lamp
Don't you worry, it's only a shower
For your clothes here's a pretty flower...
Die on organic poison gas
Serpent's egg's already hatched
You will creak, you little clown
When you mess with President Brown
California uber alles
Uber alles California

(May 22 06, 11:32)Is that like when a person say circumvents the law and goes to Canada to buy their illegal weed, illegally transporting it across the border, and illigally using the illegal drug? Kinda like that circumventing the law? Like that?
Hypocrasy rears it's head yet again, and it's ugly.

oh do shut up garrett
- mrdobolina0
You will say anything, no matter if it makes any sense at all or not.
There is a FCC regulation that prohibits the exact monitoring of communications in this way, did you know that?
- johndiggity0

After having published a demo site for a client:
Them: "Can you print out a copy of every page in the site and post it to us?"
Us: "Why??"
Them: "We need to fax a copy to our US office so they can have a look at it..."hahaahaha
