omg
not trying to sound like a twit, but think about the person who can buy those 5 vip's? he probably already has those other things and has a bit of coin left over he calls "more money that anyone i ever know will know what to do with..." ;)
he has a beach house..... in Cannes, Sardinia, Cali, and Oahu. and collects vintage airplanes..... and wooden boats.
it is also called one of the founders of a major software company that got purchased....

i have a friend who drove it for being such a 'valued Viper owner' (he bought 5 special edition versions).

(May 17 06, 13:39)What the f does your friend do to afford 5 vipers. Why not but 1 viper, 1 z06 vette, a Porsche and maybe a beach house.

was released 5 years ago, prototype only. has a waaaaaaaaaay detuned RAM V8 in it and curb weight is ~ same as a Neon.
supposed to handle like shit and brakes on it are good to about 50mph.
it is prototype to the T. i have a friend who drove it for being such a 'valued Viper owner' (he bought 5 special edition versions).

Typical Chrysler, overpowered for it's construction, made out of cheap alloys, and handles like a shopping cart.

i saw the jet bike on some discovery channel thing, jay leno has one. he said it's slow off the line, but the faster you go, the more power you have and the more responsive it becomes. nature of the turbine engine, i guess.

"The Tomahawk is old news. They debuted that a few years ago at the Detroit Auto show.
I heard Shaq offered a million bucks for one and Dodge said Sorry not for sale.

(May 17 06, 12:40)"Probably because it cost DCX about 5-10 million to build it.

I was standing next to one of those jet bikes at the drag strip last summer....sounded insane revving up to speed.
I guess they don't have immediate power so you have to kind rev the jet engine and walk it for a few steps.
As they guy was doing that something cracked and he blew fluid all over the place. I think they come with a lifetime guarantee and free leathers for the $150k.
