Any of you used this yet?:

i tried it out for a while some time ago.
i went back to just hand-coding: not being able to edit the xhtml (ie. id's and classes) in the same app is counter productive.

No looks interesting though

I was looking for a predictive/prompt plugin for BBedit, that's all I want.

I didn't realize you couldn't edit the xhtml. That would be useless.

i just handcode in dreamweaver 8
I used the dreamweaver 8 to make cms's though cause I dont know PHP or ASP very well but it seems to get the job done.

Do CSS layouts show up correctly in design view of the latest version of DW? I am using MX at work and strictly handcode. I can't even look at CSS in design view because it is so scrambed

I used to use DW for handcoding. Just runs a bit slow on my MAC (and the design preview is screwed) hence why I use BBEdit.

i never use design view, but yes, the current version of dw displays css much better.

that site uses those terrible java animations. . . so fuck that.

Notepad + Firefox, and then I check in IE later.
At my job I use Frontpage because it's required.

I have to use something with color syntax.

if you are on a mac

This firefox extension lets you edit the stylesheet in real time. If your working locally, you can save the styles your working on from the browser, or you can just copy and overwrite your stylesheet online.

This is pretty useful too. Highlights the elements in your page and gives you class/id names.

Also for firefox.

ha, it's not too bad, but I am having a giant headache since I'm currently putting 60 pages of a pdf file into html. there are many errors after saving the file in .htm format, so I have to go through the entire document again.
And then do the French version. This is the one time I hate being in a bilingual country.

blame canada

Chalk up another DW8 fan. I hear people complaining about it all the time but I assume that those people use design view and rarely look at the stylesheet.
color syntax, and code completion in DW are great productivity tools. That plus testing in FF with extensions.
What's a table?
