yes
Choose your language... and then send. it. It can be in a url string. the language can do whatever you want, connect to dB or just process.
can do a sendAndLoad. that way it sends the request and then waits for a response back via xml or whatever? for your success indicator.

thanks guys. is needed for a Kiosk app, so now i'll show it to our programming guys.

if it's a kiosk you have access to ahead of time, and it doesn't have to be on a cd/dvd, you could just use WAMP/MAMP. easy access to local php/mysql services.

(May 17 06, 06:05)can you provide some detail?
Anyway probably the kiosk will be in a very secure network (it's for a bank) so i think that a solution without web services it's the best option

WAMP/MAMP (windows/mac specific) is an installed app that can provide an apache web server, mysql, and php environment in a standalone app.
WAMP
http://sourceforge.net/projects/…basically it gives you an easy way to have all of those services running on a local machine. you'd start up the server on the kiosk and just go to http:/localhost in your browser of choice. with this, you can go between flash and mysql via php. easy peasy

oh, and you don't need to be on any network to use it. it's completely standalone.
