how do u handle critics of your artwork from professionals? most of the crits are bad

every one has their own opinion, just take the stuff you feel is important and use it to make it better.
Just becuase one person doesnt like it/is critical it doenst make it bad - we all like different things or the ppl in teh world would be boring

i don't think crits are ever bad, if someone's got something to say about your work then they're entitled to say it. I was always told never take any criticism personally – even the good comments. Consider what's been said and move on, life's too short to get mad or angry and besides, that kind of bitching should be discussed with lots of beer.

Don't forget it's easier to critise than it is to complement so take everything with a pinch of salt

I look to see if what was said works better than what I did, if it works well then I thank them for the crit if it doesn't work I tell them they are like dirt on the sole of my shoe.

I just nod and try to pretend what they are saying isnt horse shit and then I make the smallest changes possible... at the end of the day the client is there to poop on your designs, its not fine art, you have to give people what they want i suppose. Doesnt mean I dont try and talk the clients down from the ledge though.

I think crits a always good. But you need to think about who they are. If all someone says is negative things... and does not offer a solution. well, then its not very helpful. I always try to say, not feelin this part, insert reasons, maybe try this....
I hate people that just say, nope don't like it.... OK, what do you suggest. I'm not going to just sit here and try to guess what you like
