Ok everyones coming from all sides of the globe for OFFF this week, why don't we all meet up for a NT drinks? .
Shall we make it the friday night?
Any bars that come to mind?
Something around CCCB Centre?
Let us know!

i ve been there for the past three years... porto olimpico has some bars/clubs... they also give two free shots for free when you come in :) some of them are on la rambla, but honestly havent seen any good ones.

tackiest tourist shit - benidorm style.

el mussol is alright for traditional catalan food:
http://www.virtualtourist.com/tr…also, can marti up on tibidabo does good eats, but no web presence.
being one of picasso's first hangouts, it's super touristy, but els quatre gats is still cool:
http://www.barcelona-tourist-gui…and then there's the quinze nits in the placa sant jaume (or is it the placa reial?). you have to queue, but it's worth it. just grab a bottle from one of the neighbouring bars and hang out. plus, it's incredibly cheap for the quality of both the food and the ambience.

thanks, eleanor, i remember long queues on plaza real, was wondering whether it was worth waiting. i can't remember, what hour do they start serving?
then there were some nice places in el born area, where we'll be staying.and excuse me, Els Quatre Gats stinks and waiters give sneaky stares.. :]
- rasko40
sesamo on carrer des hospital

bump.
- paraselene0
haha. i haven't been to els quatre gats in years.
dunno about the time that they start at quinze nits. you'd be just as well meandering around the born until you see a place you like the look of, to be honest.
the quality of places, if not the places themselves, is apt to change wildly in short periods of time...
