I am looking for a sliding gallery that has a 'play' feature in it. I have one (a component: http://www.flashcomponents.net/c…), but there is no autoplay feature.
While we are here, does anyone have the as/file for something like this: http://www.flashcomponents.net/c… ?
I need to customize it to work with a gallery (with thumbnails and/or numbers, instead of just back and next)
Thanks

It has to slide, so yeah, it has to be flash.
I have several galleries very similar to those links, but in Flash (and smoother).
I want smooth motion, not the disjunctive look to html.
Thanks, though.

One (pretty easy, but not the most effecient) way you could set it up on a timer is this:
check out the AS on the "button"s from that link you showed. Create a (empty) movieclip. Put keyframes on the MC's timeline, and space them out to the time you want in between "slides". Put the corresponding AS (minus the "on(release)" calls) on the keyframes. Put that MC on the main stage, and as long as all of the paths are correct (_root, _parent, etc.) you should be good.
good luck.
