not sure what's up, but it's chopped in safari as well

isn't it because you have no doctyte, html, body, etc?

If you change the background to white, you can see the entire thing, with the bottom portion highlighted.

i added a body and doctype.
this is wack dude. if i make text links it works fine. its crapping out on the images.

remove img width and height attributes(?)
- Jaline0
this is really getting to me now
- Jaline0
Maybe you could make it lower until we can figure out what's up with the top..
- ldww0
what do you mean lower?
- Jaline0
nevermind, the entire black thing moves with the images, hahahaa.
- ldww0
lol. yea.
and if yo notice the grey stripe at the bottom - thats about the width of the missing image. so the li looks about the right height, its just doing weird things to the image.

I like changing the background to white to see what I'm doing, but then it's still messed up when I change it back to black.

i am going to post it on a css forum and see what i can dig up.

There are lots of other people who seem to have the same problem, but I can't find a proper solution.
Good luck!
