Holy shit the album art and packaging are AMAZING!
wow
album is growing on me too...just wish they hadn't have put all that ambient fluff on there...
- algorithm0
not what I was expecting , but it has grown on me.
The packaging looks to be something interesting also. Haven't seen anything like it before.

I also like it more each time I listen. I've gone from mildy-disappointed that it wasn't better to playing it a few times a day.

hahahahahah

it's been referenced that a sign of the apocalypse is me bad-mouthing tool... but everytime i listen to those tracks it pisses me off that after five years all you get is some self-absorbed, ego-stroking, masterbatory jar of piss.
plus 1-1/2 good tracks.
fuck maynard.

i love the album

was just a silly ref to the same fake BS that happened with the last BoC album.
not really into the Tool, although i see a rip i could grab (Team EOS) if its not the same copy as this CD in question.

this album gets better each time I listen to it.. no way in hell it's a b-side teaser release, but I bet we'll get some extra goodies when we buy it.
just think of it as a journey thru different environments, not every track needs to be another form of vicarious.

you obviously haven't heard the album then, horton
- horton0
i heard the fake is actually the new Boards Of Canada EP.

i said it made me weep. altho i am yet to listen to the album.
i tend to weep when i have nothing better to do.

I'm not saying the ambient tracks are bad... its just fluff. After 5 years I expect more than 8 tracks.
I think Tool has seen its better days... This new album isnt too bad though.

What a hard thing to live up to... it must sound like old TOOL, but at the same time be cutting edge and new.

this album is solid, and yes maybe not too progressive, but if you're a Tool fan you should be VERY pleased.
