Wondering if anyone has any experience creating alpha channels for video using a green screen and AFX. I have never done it before, am wondering how its done...any tips or sites that show tutes would be ace. Also, a cheap solution for the green screen and the other stuff that I would need to buy would also be helpful. Sorry, for the noob question, this is all new to me. its for a school proj that would be done in Flash.
Lemme know.
Thanks
Ames.

Since I don't have AE on this machine, and haven't done this in a few months, I can't walk you through the specifics. But, the basics aren't too diificult, and revolve around Keying out the unwanted color. Google some tut's and you'll find it.
As afar as a green screen. Depends on how big. You can get 5x5 green screens for not too much. A hundred bucks or too. But! You can also get Chromakey paint, which is way cool, and make your own. About 40 bucks a gallon from B&H Photo.
Hope that's a helpful start! :)
