Anyone ever seen a treeline used in a logo, I can't think of any off hand.
I am doing a logo for a developer and he now wants to add a treeline to the image in the logo - they all look too detailed I think.

what the fuck is a treeline?
- mr_snuggles0
like a skyline, but with trees...

how about a couple a trees in the forground, and a shakey/rough like in the background implying trees?
- mr_snuggles0
if you type "treeline logo" into google, I bet you could see what's out there...
- mr_snuggles0
I know, I did it for kicks too...

if you did it with evergreens it probably wouldn't look that bad...
otherwise it'll look like clouds.

I would probably use Alsacian Cypress and intersperse some German Silver Birch, maybe a couple of Swedish Firs around the edges.

norwegian wood.

yeah evergreens wouldn't work - the real hard thing is the logo consists of rooftops infront of a skyline, which wasn't bad but now he want's a treeline inbetween the to to make the company seem more green/enviromentally aware - so basically the logo is starting to get crazy looking.

rasko, you sure do know your wood

I'd like to get familiar with his wood too...

maybe you should add him in a window, waving, and have some pigeons on the rooftops and some kids in the park and a '76 cadillac eldorado rolling by.
i bet he'll like it.

just draw an angled line and there you go

I'm gonna run the caddilac by him that could go over well.
- rasko40
failing that you could just run him over.
