anyone looking at the eclipse?
It's about 20% covered here in london. Just get a sheet of paper and put a hole in it. Then focus the sun through it onto another sheet. Alternatively use a mirror to focus the sun onto sheet.
Just did it. The sun looks like a small circle with a chunk taken out of it. A bit like the bite in the Apple logo.

i just tried, but it's tooooooo cloudy and i can't even figure out where the sun might be if the clouds were to pass!

sunny as fuck up here, but no-ones even heard of an eclipse - anyone know if its up here too? (cant see the sun out my window)...

it's a bit cloudy here but there are occasional breaks in the clouds where the sun shines quite brightly.

the nasa site gives the path of totality but I think many places can see some kind of eclipse.

sun just broke through the clouds.
i just fetched a dvd-recordable disc and looked thru that. there's a small bite out of the sun. a little smaller then the bite out of the apple logo.
