"they do NOT deliver what the client wants."
FACT. I used to be good friends with someone who worked Pittsburgh Penguins marketing team, and thus had drinks more than a few times with the head honcho... he said hiring 2A was the biggest mistake he made. wasted a ton of money on a site that, initially, didn't work right, and pissed off enough users to get the thing pulled in 6 months.

I have just returned from Santo Domingo de los Colorados in Pinchincha and came across an interesting comment made by uberdesigner.
Are you refering to the 'shifty old business guy' on the right in this photo? aka shaved, athletic and toned poodlehead Novak.

ummm...no idea what you are thinking about there Beavis.
The joke is the subject "Re: New 2Advanced"
That itself is in fact a joke!

i've no idea why this thread has so many responses. both sites are obviously shite, but there isn't even a comedy angle about them to be enjoyed. any irony that might be there is lost due to the in-joke threadery mockery bollocks. so there. you bitches.

but thinking about you...

you guys are still talking about this?

booohooo-frickin'-hoooooo.....an... is my passion. It's a way of thinking, a way of living, a way of looking at the world. Good design is easily recognized: It's smooth, it's intelligent, it's calculated....
blah, bla, blah, bla. Heard it all now....So, there is a LEGAL obligation which allows shifty old guys to dictate crappy end results and bogus customer experiences?
Good one!

but, at the end of the day....it's still just an office with some boneheads trying to make a lil $$$
nothing more.....

(Mar 30 06, 08:06)it was started by one very talented 19 yr old. it went big when he got caught up with some shifty old business guys who turned it into a churn and burn situation. the place should definitely be stripped of its people, they should be set up as their own shop.

they do NOT deliver what the client wants. In fact, it's a long hard road to pave now that key REAL designers have left.
Or, at least on key Art Director. His involvement was key for the execution of both O'Neil and Evans Fruit Co.

I love those designers that try to claim Superiority by expressing opinons about peoples tastes.

But more power to them for being able to land projects and also deliver what the client wants.

(Mar 30 06, 10:40)You could say the same thing about prostitutes.
Just sayin.
