good flick.
will be sad to see it aligned with the leftist community, and it's a bit more polished than the comic (and a few of the changes were quite annoying, not enough to merit moore taking his name from the credits, though).
it'd be nice for them to do watchmen like this, or, hopefully, better.

one of the better comic book conversions. still a touch too hollywood (ie US take on UK life, generic pub scene shot full of bad teethed old men).
Portman needs to practise her english accent, she sounded australian at certain points. hugo did a good job with the v character.
would of been interesting to see the film having NOT read the comic...

i must be a noob but i didn't even know there was a comic to the movie. saw the mtv special on the flick though and am definitely interested in seeing it now.

they should leave The Watchmen alone. It can't be made into a movie there is no point in even trying.
Also back on V for Vendetta Vespa, Para and I held up filming of it one night in trafalgar square because we were sitting on lions in the background...
- kelpie0
ha! I remember yous talking about that. class.
personaly I think they should stop adapting comics for the screen full stop, they should certainly stop raping Moores work...
- soda0
yeah, appatently Para knew someone who was working on the set. I'm hoping we are still in the film somewhere...

and i'm hoping we're not! we must have been in a complete state.
haha. it was the copyright lawyer from my old job. he was consulting for the film.
soda, we should go see it with vespa and play spot the drunk interweb geeks.

(Mar 17 06, 05:36)Mark Kamode rated it though.
I'd rather go along with his review than Jonathon Ross,
he doesn't even watch all the movies he reviews. He gets his researchers to do it.

and his brother...
- soda0
don't get me started on his fatfuckbrother..
- kelpie0
scintilating and sensational, I give it a 5 out of 5!

Mark Kermode. hahaha.
My last car was stuck on Radio 5live and I used to love him on Friday's. If he didn't like a movie, fuck me you knew about it, used to make me chuckle on the way home.
Got a haircut like a twat though, – what is it with film critics?
- kelpie0
