I woke up this morning to this documentary on HBO
http://www.hbo.com/docs/programs…
I was horrified by it ...
It made me sick ...
Human beings can be so evil
I'am sad

i am in a state that does not even deserve the word depression .
should i click that link?
- fullerc0
I couldn't get myself to click.
I can barley watch Animal ER on Animal Planet. I like animals too much to watch them suffer.
- davey_g0
Do not click...I hate looking at that stuff. I sponsor 2-4 animals per month here:
Every person that can help, should.

human beings are without a doubt the 'scourge' of the planet.
Let's see some of the things we can take credit for: racism, sexism, greed, hate, prejudice, lying, cruelty, etc. etc. etc.
extinguish the humans....

go take a look at monkeys/gorillas and what not, you will see some serious sexism as well.
tolerance between different species can be extremely low or even absent. there's racism for you.
etc.

excellent point...
extinguish all humanoids and primates...

Its a very powerful documentary about a guy who goes undercover at an arkansas dog kennel and secretly videotapes the whole ordeal
Each year, 42,000 dogs are sold to veterinary schools and research labs by Class B dealers, who are required by federal law to buy the animals from pounds, shelters and small breeders and to treat them humanely. However, many Class B dealers violate the law. DEALING DOGS exposes the abuses that took place at one of America's most notorious Class B dealers - Martin Creek Kennel in Arkansas.
- Ramanisky20
Four years in the making, DEALING DOGS follows the undercover investigation of Martin Creek Kennel by the animal rights group Last Chance for Animals. A young man who goes by the name of "Pete" in the film wore a hidden camera while he worked a low- level job hosing kennels at the dog dealer. Over the course of six months, Pete secretly filmed activities at Martin Creek Kennel, including the beating and shooting of dogs, and recorded footage of animals that were left to languish in their kennels and suffered from malnourishment, life-threatening disease and injury, among other abuses. Dog corpses are shown piled up on the property and in trenches after being butchered for their organs.
how can those people sleep at night
- fullerc0
I saw some of that on the news or animal planet...
The table next to the trench where they cut open dogs to get their hearts for heart worm research was so disgusting! A freakin sheet plywood on saw horses cover in blood and animal parts just out in the middle od a field.

I've always wished that people that did those things to dogs and other animals would be punished by having the same done to them.
I'd like to see some dog abusers beaten and locked in a kennel and left to be malnourished and live in their own feces and urine.
Or maybe they just get a good beating with a bat or four.

My girlfriend thinks it's abusive if our dog is outside for more than 15 minutes and god forbid if I don't give him a biscuit every time he comes in. OH the humanity!!!

not something we do here.
i wonder if you are allowed to refuse..
(sorry for slightly offtopic question)
- paraselene0
i refused.
it was fine.

any moron with 3 firing synapses can breed dogs and subject them to horrible abuse and neglect.
dog breeding and selling should be strictly regulated by the government, under penalty of heavy fines and/or imprisonment.
until that happens, this will continue to go on.
- fullerc0
I refused do that that in HS and they made me sit in the hall way and do book work that week.

hey 4cy!
you have a point! then again in my little brain when i say "government" i am referring to one that someday, in the near future, will work together in harmony and compassion.
then they'll put little lights inside our palms which will flash when we get our first wrinkles ;)
