Have a look at this poster:
http://www.merchline.com/iso50/p…Then type 'Fight lazy workers!' in Google Image.
Did ISO50 bought the rights to sell & produce this poster?

In school people always used to steal ideas out of the design history books, when they would show up to crits we would say..."that looks familiar..."

Re-creating traditional posters seems like a good way to get better at what you do.
I dont think his intention was to claim he created the design. The poster is obviously a traditional communist era design.
Looks more like inspiration then a rip to me.

//Maybe the message is he's selling a Communist poster for profit?

(Mar 7 06, 07:47)There's nothing wrong with anything you said, until you start selling your 'inspired' products.
- Jaline0
exactly what greedo said
- Jaline0
...and it's even worse when there is more than just one product being sold at the website with that design.
- skelly0
say it ain't so!
- skelly0
by the way the work is listed as by Anonymous, so who really owns it? Do you think that poster place just found the original, traced it, and sold it? Is that any different?
- GreedoLives0
that poster place sells originals from the 30s, not knockoffs. You'll prolly have to shell out $500+ to take that home.
