running is good i can run about 2 miles. I could prolly do 2.5 but I find it harder then when I play ball hockey or soccer I can run way more and it feels like alot less. Maybe I just like chasing things. No idea. But I can run harder and faster when playing a sport then just running and watching the simpsons.

i only lift. i used to be a marathoner, but can't get myself motivated unless there's competition involved.
p.s. lifting does wonders for losing the gut.

I've been using the Couch to 5k app, and it's been great. I'm up to running 30 mins a day now, and no injury from pushing myself too hard. It's a really good program.

If you're trying to burn fat then running isnt really ideal. You want to do weights. That's for the fat burning.
