I just picked up and finished, "How to Make Love*
*The Bruce Campbell Way."
And laughed my ass off for three nites and could barely put it down for the life of me.
I highly suggest his auto-biography first, and then this. Classic stuff.

read helen simpson's 'constitutional' last night. slim book of excellent short stories that kept me up 'till the wee hours.
i don't think boys would like them, though.
and they're rather macabre.

Stanislaus Lem - Solaris (to make me finally sit down and watch the film properly)

Yeah, I've heard that book is pretty decent. "cloud atlas" is exceptional.
Another really excellent book I read a while ago was "The Corrections" by Jonathan Franzen.
Early Paul Auster stuff is mint as well ("Moon Palace", "New York Trilogy")
