so if the mets can't beat atlanta, they're not really going anywhere this year, are they?

(Apr 21 06, 11:30)way too early for the Mets to think they are the best in the NL.
they never could be ATL

Seriously. Last year this time, Baltimore was in first, and 2 years ago, the KC was in first. Not much to get excited about.....except the SOX!

going to the brewers/cubs game next weekend at wrigley on the rooftop decks. aww yeah.

Awesome mrdobs. I'm acutally going to my first game ever at wrigley on memorial day weekend. Can't wait! It like visiting Mecca. Everyone has to make the holy pilrgamige at least once in their life. Never been to chicago before.

which brings up another point...i don't have tickets yet. That place sold out faster than a mofo. Planning on buying from a scalper the day of. Any other suggestions??

is it me... or are the Yank's in LAST place?
... oh... and the Redsox have to 4-0 starting pitchers thus far... I seem to recall a conversation w/mr. valencia... something about the Red Sox not having any pitching... when in fact that have INSANE pitching..
... yep... Yanks fans are in a lil denial right now.... but I'll grant them the simple fact that the season is but a baby right now and plenty of more to happen in the future...
just something else to share - the other night I made it out to the d-backs game... got to see Luis Gonzales hit his 500th double the other night... he's now the 21st player in baseball history to reach 300 HR's and 500 doubles...
... kinda cool lil thing there...
... anyway... enjoy the season... DIE YANKEES etc...
later!

Fuck the Bosox, Let's go Yanks!

What a nice little 7-3 victory to start off the series. Mirabelli is reacquired, Wakefield goes 7, Ortiz hits a three run blast, and Damon not only gets booed, but he goes 0-4.
I can't tell you how nice it is to have a shut down, lights out closer like Papelbon.

Sign of the night for Damon:
Looks like Jesus
Acts like Judas
Throws like Mary
