Hope the photos don't go up anymore...that's the beauty of iStock. Keeping it real for the independent people. Shit, I remember when it was free.

(Feb 10 06, 09:54)"Nope, it means Getty realizes that this market is huge and they need to get involved in it, so better to buy the leader than try and compete.
- chz0
apparently for 50 million.
- radar0
yeah Getty already has the RM & expensive RF market - now they have the lower-end RF market.

My god, they've got us from both ends!
It's a wrap!

Damn, I really, really hope that they don't up the prices on their stock.. I don't know much about it all, but it doesn't feel good.
- Ronal0
if the prices get out of hand, other indie stock agencies will emerge.
count on it :)
- uberdesigner0
fantastic, now I'll have more photos of smiling bank tellers to rub 'em out to

flickr should add the feature of selling...
- NegativeSpace0
Ahh i hope prices don't go up. As a student I didn't even mind shelling out some cash at iStock when I can't take my own photos or find them elsewhere. I have done that a few times, it would suck to loose that as an option :(
