after listening to everyone talk about how the steelers are gonna run over seattle, i have come to the realization that the seahawks are THE most underrated team in the NFL.
these guys are a hell of a team and they had a ruff schedule this season and STILL came out on top with a record comparable to the colts.
they just MIGHT be the best team in the league.prediction:
seahawks by at LEAST 10.

go hawks... i can't stand american football but they're just over the border from here so i'll cheer for em if it helps.

i really hope they win...if they do it would be the first time a seattle team won a championship since the '79 Sonics.

hey please, stick to the three other Seattle threads.
NFC is crap even if you manage to beat the Steelers by some miracle in heaven

Rough season,,,, Dude, you don't know jack crap about football.
The NFC is far below sub par compared to the AFC.
I keep saying it, steelers by 17 1/2.
bet you a thousand dollars.

" these guys are a hell of a team and they had a ruff schedule this season"
He is on crack for saying this...
The Seagulls had like the top 2 or 3 easiest schedules in the NFL.
I give them credit for beating my Redskins, but my Skins were hurting from a lot of injuries and were down to one WR... And the fact that Seattle is possibly the loudest stadium in the NFL.
I think the Steelers are gonna roll 34-17. The Bus will score 3 times. and Get MVP..
But, this is the NFL and although the AFC is stronger, any team can beat any other team each week regardless of the Conference.

I'll bet a 20 spot that the Seahawks win. Any takers?

- JazX0
you coudln't have put it better slinky.
I WANT the Steelers wto win, but regardless, the AFC beat up on the NFC at a rate of like 42 out of 60 this year or something absolutely ridiculous.

ppl keep bringing up that the hawks had an easy road and all, but so did the panthers, bears, and colts.
don't bring the redskins injuries, because all teams have injuries this time of the year.
if you do, then you have to also account for the steelers beating jon kitna's bengals and not palmers.
but the hawks won't get respect, so they just have to go out and prove ppl wrong.
GO HAWKS!!!

Because the Steelers are the better team from the better conference. Let's face it, it didn't matter who emerged from the AFC; that team was going to be the Super Bowl favorite. So that team is the sixth seed. Big deal. The Steelers have the momentum you like at this time of year, conquering the AFC's top three clubs in successive weeks -- and doing it on the road -- after winning their last four regular-season starts, including a huge victory over Minnesota in Minneapolis. Sure, I believe Seattle is underappreciated, but that's what happens when you live in the NFC West. The Seahawks won 13 of their last 14, led the league in sacks, had the top red-zone offense and No. 2 red-zone defense, and had the league MVP. That's terrific. But Pittsburgh plays in a tougher division and tougher conference. And its road to Detroit was steeper, much steeper. It not only got through all of that, its performance improved each week.
Don't forget, the Steelers were 16-1 last year before losing the AFC Championship game. If we were in the NFC last year we'd also have been in the SB.

archie manning:
"that just goes to show how tough the AFC is, when the Pittsburgh Steelers are a six seed!"
- JazX0
you would have lost to KC and SD and they didn't even make the playoffs along the way here.

don't get me wrong, i'm not knocking the steelers, cuz i do believe they are a very good team. i just hate how ppl bring up the schedule all the time, then make excuses how the seahawks got to the superbowl.
easy schedule or not, it's still hard in this league to win 13/14 games.

(Feb 3 06, 14:05)----
a couple of years ago the browns lost a game because of something stupid (guy running in for a touchdown and let up early and fumbled or some shit).
after that i heard a coach say, "football games are hard to win, so it's tough when someone loses like that."
made a lot of sense to me.

too bad they lost

ta-da...!
