IE 7 is so buggy at the moment, i have no idea why the connection screen keep coming up even i go offline.. how odd.. the UI does ripped from Firefox and Safari in many ways. But i wonder does the new UI really shows better user experience compare to firefox as they get rid of old menu bar into the TOOLS button. (feel a bit like Netscape Navigator now the new IE 7) :P

(Feb 1 06, 05:32)WHAT!? verdana looks alot better in cleartype then in standard form... like i said takes time getting use to your eyes are looking at text in a new way so takes time...but worth it...

HelloWorld - The rendering is shite. It's not a case of get used to it, it's a case of put up with it! It's fuzzy. Apple do it better.

Ugh ... I just turned ClearType on and I am seriously getting dizzy.
It seems to make everything skinnier, bolder... if that's even possible.
Yuck.

hrm..Ive just activated cleartype and I nearly quite like.. Verdana 10 and 11 are not bad like this..
Dont know if I prefer it...

takes time for eyes to adjust... id never to back to standard...and no apple dosnt do it better...cleartype was developed at MS and the new fonts in vista even work nicer in cleartype. an the current font size in NT works just fine in cleartype verdana looks nice using cleartype at this current size and i hate scaling verdana cause it looks like shit thats why I use Arial.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview and return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
1. Click “Start,” and then click “Control Panel.”
2. Click “Add or Remove Programs.”
3. Check “Show Updates” at the top of the dialog box.
4. Scroll down the list to “Windows XP – Software Updates,” select “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2Preview,” and then click "Change/Remove."If "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview" does not exist, run %windir%\$NtUninstallie7bet2p$\s... You need to have "view hidden folders" enabled. %windir% is your Windows installation directory, which is normally 'C:\Windows' on most systems.

Yes nRIK. I can remove it, but I can't get IE6 back! If I then add IE again, it adds IE7! Even if I put the fucking windows CD in!

A friend told me that getfirefox.com breaks in IE7.

(Feb 2 06, 09:24)Doesn't work.
It tells you already have the most recent version and it "can not" continue.
- bradpitt0
try this, haven't tried it myself.

one thing that gets me with the UI is the little blank "tab" on the right of all active tabs. I must have serious issues but it feels like I have to click on it to move across tabs and see what's in it... but it's nothing! it's a new tab! and then another one appears... which I feel compelled to click on. I'm sure they're putting that there for the suckors who have always used IE and don't know what a tab is... but...
there should be no extra tab!
