it was a politcal coup, he's probably gone and shagged somebody's wife.

Sven has a decent record in competitive games but lets be fair he's a bit a lacklustre cock who doesn't seem to focus on the job in hand.
He's a bit like Mourinho, most managers could get the 1/4 finals of a competition with a first team that reads:
Robinson, Neville, Cole, Campbell/Rio/Terry, Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard, J Cole, Owen and Rooney for fuck sake, it's not a tough one.
The news of the world are tossers for stitching him up but he's a tosser for going to the meeting then being so careless with what he's saying when he knows the press are out to get him.
The only downside I see to Sven going to be honest is that the FA are going to try and put in an English manager to replace him and apart from the refreshingly honest but inexperienced Stuart Pearce, the alternatives are that fat gobshite Allardyce, Steve McClaren or Curbs.

Sven prematch moral booster talk:
"hmm yes, ok, can you go out there, go out there and try and score some goals.. please? hmm yes but don't be worried if not"
about time he went. not that I give a damn about football.
- kelpie0
dammit. Sven is the only thing stopping England from actualy challenging for competitions. He enhances the natural bottler in every English footballer with a dollop of bland and uninterested. Soon as your first team gets a decent manager you'll be semis/finals/winners rather than quarters. bugger.

FA wanted rid, paid someone off at NOTW to do the setup.
Sven should've kept his cock in his trousers (or at least just in Nancy).

just to make it clear to all you engurlund fans... Martin Oniell will not take the job for numerous reasons; too many to list here and too laughable to give any creadance to the idea that martin would step down to the level of managing england.
cause thats what it would be for him... a step down.

Here here Jamble, I agree everyone is talking about Allardyce, but do we really want England to play like Bolton!!
- karlo0
What I hate about the entire England job is that as soon as you are in they start getting slated!!
Robson - Quality
Taylor - Shite
Hoddle - Great player - Shite manager -
Keegan - Great Player - Shite manager
Sven - in my eyes - great managerBeing a Forest fan I would hate to see Stuart Pearce or Martin O Neill remembered for being a shit manager.
In my own opinion and you will all disagree - if the next England manager is to be an English one...
My vote goes to Allardyce
However, he has already admitted he may be too outspoken for the job
- jamble0
Allardyce is a shit, gobshite manager. I saw Ottmar Hitzfeld or Big Phil Scolari touted as possibles and I think of the names mentioned so far, they'd get my vote.
I'm not fussed about it being a foreign manager to be honest if it means a good manager.
- kelpie0
as an impartial *cough* observer, you need someone to put some passion back into the way you play. you really need an english manager next time out (imo). England can be so drab when it comes to the crunch and with that first 11, that's crazy
LOL @ poomoo's Martin O'Neil comment btw, good grief...
- poomoo0
martin is the top choice of all the 5live pundits. i mean what are they thinking? thier heads are so far up thier ares its unbelievable.
its simply rediculious to even think martin would take the job. it would be such a step backwards for the man.
these pundits think that the england job is like the top job in the world... well i hate to break it to ya fellas. eurpoean club competition is the biggest competition in football, not international management.
haha! even mourino is being touted! these pundits are fucking morons! MORONS! FUCKING MORONS!
kelpie - check email.

-----eh - don't agree. More money than Sellick, more prestige than Sellick (come on UEFA cup Vs World Cup? no contest).
Don't think he'd take it though, but dinnae be daft man...

McLaren is favourite for the job, which i think is bollocks. We need someone who's experienced at the highest level of the game, european/international football. I know McLaren has been nurtured for the job for quite a while, Svens right hand man, success with the under 21s. But i'd rather see a manager of international caliber.
I dont think Allardyce is the man. Him or Pearce. Even though they're doing well, but these guys aren't experienced at the top flight. We need people of the calibre of Wenger/Fegusson/Mourinho, someone who can command the players respect.

Gazza's out a job - thoughts?
- kelpie0
or you could have Alex McLeish? please?
- toe_knee0
Well ye can't have Steve Staunton cause we Irish have him.
:(
