I'm making a wee movie in after effects for a presentation. I've got it set to PAL. When I render it and view it at 100% it's fine, but when I view it at full screen in QT pro, my text looks pixelated. How can I overcome this?

when u view it at full screen you are prob streching it... so thats why u are getting bad text... kinda if you would inlarge a bitmap u would get pixelsation.... dont think it matters but are you using vector text or bitmap images for the text?

Full screen on your computer monitor is not the correct resolution for an accurate preview. If available, export your image to a broadcast formatted reference monitor, or just a regular tv.

If those aren't available, stick to viewing it at whatever native res. 640x480, 720x486, whatever that is. Chances are it will be fine.

compie monitors have a square pixels where as PAL has a non-square pixels. render your movie with square pixels and set the composition size to 768x576

dvd players for computers compensate for the pixel aspect ratio. so just render it with PAL settings and you should be ok. it's better if you check with tv monitors instead of your compie monitor

just pal. you don't want square pixels unless it's only going to be viewed on comp monitors.
