So... tomorrow i'll fly to NY and stay there for 5 days. Someone of you know a good outlet center in the area? I ask because i want to dedicate only one day for shopping and the rest for visiting the city. I'm looking for a place where i can find almost everything, from clothing to sporting goods ... and not so expensive like Macy's and Bloomingdales ...
I know that there are special buses that go to these places..

There's STRAND Books on Broadway. There are a bunch of stores on broadway from union square all the way down to canal. You can hit up Giant Robot on 9th St and avenue A. There's Staple/Reed Space on Orchard St. and Rivington. Definately rock out on the lower east side.

what I mean is;
get pizza at a dumpy corner spot, drink a 6pack on the stoop of a 6 story walkup building. meet someone that has a dope rooftop spot so that you can really get the feeling of the town.

That's what's up! Sounds like my usual schedule if you ad the occasional dance party at a dive bar or reekin havok in the streets, hehe.

If you're gonna be on canal street, go to Zakka Corp. The best design bookstore that I know of in the city and it's right off Canal on Grand Street.

Untitled in Soho, but this is sad news:

I don't know if they'll still be open.

Don't bother. I just ran by. They are gone with all kinds of sad notes from customers going back to the 70s.
