like the million$ homepage, genius idea!
Mostly because it's an obviously simple licence to print money. You either get enough money for the flat value and sell it quickly or if it's not met, you give away half the cash and keep the rest.
I'm slowly but surely finding my faith in the internet as a place where people occasionally have brilliant ideas again!

They had coverage in the Evening Standard which will certainly create enough interest.
I'm thinking rthe flat will be worth £200 - £250k. Needing approx 100,000 stakes.
Easy money

The genius is that they're arguably much much better off not getting enough entry money to meet the valuation of the flat because they only give half the entry money away as a prize and keep the rest.

Whats the tie breaker all about then ?

13. How will the winner be decided?
The winner will be the entrant whose valuation of the property is numerically closest to the sealed valuation.14. What if two or more people give the same answer?
If more then one entrant has entered the same valuation then their tie-break answers will be taken into consideration and a winner will be determined according to which answer is deemed wittiest

it's like you've never seen a bloody competition before - one that probably has the winner already lined up as the sister of the seller's husband's uncle.

2. What’s the catch?
There is no catch. The basic premise of this competition is that if enough people enter, the competition organisers receive enough money to be able to give the flat away. It’s as simple as that. If there are too few entries and the market value of the flat, Stamp Duty and transfer costs are not covered by the total of entries by the end of the competition, the winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of the amount raised through the competition.
