Is there a way to get the width and height of an external JPG while it is loading or i have to wait 'till the external thing is completely loaded ?
In a previous work i put the dimensions of the image in the XML , but this time i'm not going to use XML, and i'll use images of different sizes.
Any advices?

if you're loading it inside a 'holderMc' you could 'getWidth' and 'getHeight' from that mc the moment the JPEG starts loading.

Sure?
I tried that and the result was 0 or "undefined" (but was MX2004), Now i'll try again.

what would be the problem if you got it's width and height after loading?

i need them to place correctly the image (is array of images of different sizes and i'd like to place them correctly and dinamically)

if you use myjpeg.onLoad() when loading the image it will be invoked immediately it is loaded.
