just by the sheer lameness of their customer service dept. Coupled with the pain in the neck it is to re-license it when you get a new comp, I hope Quark catches on fire and trips into a bathtube of acid.

had to get the beta by "other" means. installed, opened it, took a quick peek. looks like 4.1, 5, 6, 6.5. i havent had a chance to play with it though.

quark is a dinosaur and unwilling to change.
i bought a full copy of 6 for mac. sold the mac. bought a pc. asked if i could switch my license. adobe let me. macromedia license was cross platform to begin with. quark said i had to buy a whole new copy... screw them.
i run a college lab with 32 computers. i didn't upgrade those either. they lost 33 upgrades with me. maybe a drop in the bucket but i think that the tide is turning...
screw them.

tell me how you REALLY feel about quark..;)
jez kiddin...anyhow, i use both quark and indesign, and there's things i like and dislike about both...but from what i've heard around, quark7 is supposed to be a whole lot better than what we've had in years...
thats why i signed up, just to see it for myself before it launches...
