Hey probably a wrong time to do this seeing as South Africa are 2 hrs ahead of UK GTM, but....
Wondered if there where any good links for jobs in Johannesburg for print designers? My girlies getting tired of the dark days over here
- cheers in advance.

sorry I missed this. Do a search for Sandton in Joburg. Most of the tech design jobs seem to be there.
- foreign0
the site is sorted by industry, then you can filter the listings by area.
- JazX0
foreign, eventually I'd like to live in either Sandton or CT.
maybe years from now. but wow seems like a lot of jobs in Durban too...
- foreign0
btw, i'd rather be in london than joburg though. :)
move to cape town instead.
- JazX0
that's a great link
- foreign0
yes, that site is used by everyone in the industry.
here's another (online version of weekly paper):
http://www.jobmail.co.zaJazX, I've never lived in Joburg. I went to Pretoria a few years ago for a 1 week job interview/trial, but I couldn't stand the place (the company was cool), but I just can't stay there permanently.
A friend of mine lives and works in Sandton, been there for a year... he seems to like it.
But I need the ocean and the mountains.

if it were up to me, I'd force every human on earth to have to travel to the CT region and soak up the culture. The best. I'd gladly live there.
I didn't mind PE either though. Pretty coastal line. I've been in contact with ZA recruiters in the past, just never managed to make my way down there. Plenty of work for qualified people.
- foreign0
yes, PE is nice... the whole south and east coast in fact... Garden Route... my favoutire area in SA.
- JazX0
I don't mind that really green and clay-rich region near Mocambique either. Very pretty.

Weird my girl's from Sandton, small world. Flooding there at the moment's a bit crazy :|I personally would have prefered CT but the missus hates the place, and i LOL, can't stand that laid backness of Durban - yeah yeah i know :P

I'm actually very jealous, but sooner or later my fiance's visa (she's from Namibia but grew up in Germany) will be approved and she'll be over here and I'll get Angolan and Namibian permanent residencies.
