is that the only refresh rate it will allow you to select?
- DavidFelt0
at that resolution yeah, my head is killing me! but my emac is same resolution and only has a refresh rate of 72 hz and looks great! wierd.
plus the colours just wont go right on the mitsubishi, anyone ever had this?

I have the same monitor and don't have similar problems with the refresh rate and the colors.
The monitor colud be broken.
Is the image neat? Cause i saw taht ins some diamondtron-based monitor that after a while the image start to vibrate, the solution for this was to re-set the refresh rate to 75 or 85 Hz and/or switch off and on the monitorl

its a pretty new monitor, i hope it isnt broken, i have another (older) mitsubishi that seems to be a better picture but interferes with my existing emac screen and so is no good sat next to it.
this screen looks kind of a bit green, even after playing around with the colour calibration, and the refresh rate makes everything look a little blurred....... hmmmm what to do!

give up and have a cry?

that may be the answer kelpie! everything works a treat and its nice having two monitors, but if i cant get at least the colour right then theres no point! ill go have a scout round the mitsubishi website me thinks!

The monitor of my GF (a iiyama, with the same diamondtron CRT of the one you have... and of the LaCIEs) a day become blurry in the top left area.
We called the warranty service and after 3 substitutions (the first time the monitor ha even worse problems, the second the monitor was broken) the monitor was ok.
