i dont much about it
any online resources to buy/learn about paper.. im doing a print job and i dont know anything about paper
- inhaler0
but seriously, doesn't the printer have most of that information? and samples of paper from paper companies? Im sure they'll send you a sample if you ask them.

inhaler is right..
1st stop..
go to the printer you're going to deal with, and ask them everything..
what paper do they recomend for this type of job...what specs do they require....do they handle quark or indesign or both....do they want it sent by PDF or bring in the job on a disc......ask them everything you can think of....2nd stop...if you really want to use a nice paper of your own choice, contact a paper company
do some research and ask for some samples..hell they'll usually send you a big ass box with a million samples..

I don't have the bookmarks anymore, but some Google searches for "specialty papers" should help. Site selling them may even offer some home printing advice. I did a bunch of invitations and such a year or two ago.
Those sites are definitely out there.

yeah thats exactly what im looking for
when i do searches on google all i can find are crappy do it yourself kits.. i dont need a kit, i can create my own 'kit'.. i just need the paper
im hoping my printer will know more about this
ive never done anything off the web and im regretting that now

Robert Horne
Fedrigoni

Arjo Wigginsthese guys make loads of great stocks
GF Smith have some great papers. Phone them up and ask for some print samples. All paper companies are more than happy to help. They'll send lots of samples for free.
