Anyone going? Is it worth it? Me and a friend from work are thinking of asking work to pick up the tab.

My friend JB goes every year...he says it's worth it. He's been buggin me to go, but I'm thinking of heading to Mexico for OFFF.

Flash in the can is all right if you ask me, but nothing amazing.
I went for the last 2 years, and in my opinion many of the speakers didn't have all that much to say aside from just showing the work they have done, and if you followed the designer at all you had most likely probably seen most of it.

I don't think there's much Flash stuff that's as hard to learn now as it was in, say, 2001.
The web community then was still small, info on new things was not as easy to find.
These days (and I could be wrong because I haven't touched Flash in more than a year) I imagine that much of the non-artistic aspects of Flash that were not so popular back then are pretty easy to find.
Back then, I think people went to figure out how to do what Praystation, Yugop, Presstube, etc. were doing artistically. I was at FF 2001 in NYC and that was the general vibe then.
Just depends on what you want out of it I guess.

It's in Seattle!
You can listen to Justin Everett-Church speak, then go to have a beer with Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell.
