I know a lot of you are tired of hearing about this, but this is huge news.

I didn't break the law, yet I was arraigned and let loose. ROR.

"U.S. President George Bush decided to skip seeking warrants for international wiretaps because the court was challenging him at an unprecedented rate."
didn't i say that once? the bigger picture is who, and for what purpose is he requesting wiretaps for that a judge would say hello no to it.
a judge only issues warrants if there is just cause, or evidence against.... for them to challenge this many... haha.... you have a government out of control for ultimate control.

his whole existance itself should be denied.

"Hello, does like, this thing work or something, is it like on?"

What do you expect from a god bothering fanatical dictator?
- QuincyArcher0
this is definately more serious then getting a blow job. I hope to see him impeached for such a gross abuse of power.

i use my phone to either call my family and friends, or my girlfriend to see what she wants to do for dinner/ whats coming next on Netflix;
who really gives a fuck about wiretapping? what is it you have to hide? i doubt anything, so stop flattering yourselves..
its you, me and a million other assholes talking drone-like about the same stuff I said above - and anyway, if you ARE planning some armageddon type shit, your stupid to use cell phones in the first place

It's called the fourth amendment.
The President is supposed to uphold the constitution.
I would pay $1000 to see them perp-walk that bastard out of the White House.
- tkmeister0
i am paranoid maybe they've recorded my phone sex action.
if that comes out, i'll never be able to run for the president...
- QuincyArcher0
you know, i really don't have anything to hide. but that doesn't mean i want my personal conversations out in the open, either.
- jpea0
it's a pretty bad precedent to set for a country that was founded on the explicit right to privacy as a main staple in life.
- 88360010
i completley agree, but this happened well before the age of suitcase nukes and remote communications

(Dec 27 05, 13:28)may i double that?
- mrdobolina0
then change the law, don't fucking circumvent it.
plus, if you read that article, the guy asked for warrants, didn't get them and did it anyway. thus, breaking the law.
words mean things.
- QuincyArcher0
keep in mind, these are WARRENTLESS wiretaps. There is no judicial oversight, no transparency...nothing. the path to getting a warrent is extremely easy...so it really does make you wonder who they're spying on.
but i think it's important that there are no public, specific, examples of this sort of domestic spying being an effective anti-terror measure.
- mrdobolina0
They have been monitoring PETA and the Quakers for fuck's sake.
Do you think that the Quakers were going to car bomb something?

not to be rude but words mean things. didn't you read the article?
"...skip seeking warrants for international wiretaps because..."
quakers are in the states no? peta too?
i'm sure though for in house shit he just bypasses everyone though.
