  I can't speak for Seattle, but SF is never ever boring and the expense is exaggerated. There are always ways to eat, live, and play cheap.

  Compared to where I live now, SF is more expensive. Do a cost of living comparison to where you are now and SF and see if it's close or not. But I know I couldn't move back, especially if I wanted to buy a house.

  i've never been to seattle but sf is a lovely city, and as typographica mentionned the expense is definitely exaggerated, you can live cheaply quite easily if you are smart about it.

  I grew up in seattle and lived in sf for about 5 years... Porbably wouldnt move back to either place, but i would choose seattle over sf any day. You have to like rain though.

  That attitude is exactally why people move away from SF or Cali.

  You can life in SF cheaply but you wont like it that much. You have to cut lots of corners, have roomates etc etc. And the cost of living isnt exagerated.

  well, thank you for comments guys!

  i just got job offering for both places w/big corporations. so i'm just not sure which place is good for living. money and job is not issue.

  if u can give me pros and cons that will be more helpfull. thanks again folk!
